When people do something that annoys you then let them know. When you don’t say anything you get angrier and angrier. What could have been a small conversation can turn into a huge confrontation if you let it build up. Rip the band aid and have the conversation when it comes up the first time.

To be a great leader you must show great empathy. You must be willing to get in the trenches and do the dirty work just like everyone you are leading. You must have a great understanding of everyone’s point of view. To be able to speak intelligibly on other’s perspective you must be able to put yourself in their shoes.
You do not know what your talking about until you can understand and argue the opposite point of view.
You must be able to speak their language. You must be able to understand where they are coming from.
