The last day of the year is a reminder. It is a reminder to notice when things come to an end and the end of something is also the beginning of something new. Noticing when things come to an end can bring closure and make room for what is about to become. The end is a time to look back and learn from experiences. These experiences will help you for the next year.

No matter where you are or how good at something you are eventually there is going to be a point where you crash back down to reality. Even when everything is going your way there is a point where it won’t. During the crash we come face to face with our own mortality. The possibility of the end comes to mind and we think it might all be over. All doubts and fears come to the surface. Is my touch gone? Does this make me happy anymore? Pain begins to set in and that is all we can think about. Eventually you must make a choice. A choice to begin again or to quit.
