    Go Against The Grain

To stand out you have to have a different opinion than everyone else and be right.

When everyone is buying stocks you should be selling.

When everyone else is scared you need to be fearless.

You have to be able to see what others do not. When you are able to do this the world opens up and the competition is less

Like Wayne Gretzky said “Skate to where the puck is going and not where it is at.”

Where are people going wrong and how can you help them?

How do you know what to do? How do you know what people want? How do you know what you want? How do you learn? How do you appreciate good music?

The best way to understand the world around you is to ask a questions.

When you ask a question, your brain automatically tries to find an answer.

The more you listen the more you will find out what you didn’t know.

Listening will open up new pathways in the brain, build new connections for learning and build bridges between opposites.

Listen to new music, podcasts, speeches and videos.

Listen to people you don’t agree with.

Listen to the sounds of the world.

Does anyone else feel like if they had the opposite it would be better?

The grass is always greener on the other side.

When I am working all day at my job all I do is think about relaxing. When I am relaxing then I get bored and want to do something.

When I am working out hard my mind keeps telling me to stop. It says that I am tired and need a break. After finally giving in to the break then I want the next challenge.

This and that can be what you need. I just think it’s interesting the way the mind works. Be grateful for what you have and make the best of it.

noiz viol8ion blog #415 – Break the Routine

For the last few years, I’ve been trying to instill routines and habits into my life. I have studied and looked up what it takes to easily install a habit. I have not done the opposite. What about all the terrible habits in my life? I have been getting the same results in my life because I have been doing the same things. I have not uninstalled bad habits and made room for the good ones. I cannot simply keep adding onto my life. I must make room for what I truly desire.
