You do these incredible act of kindness not to suck up but to show off how much the person means to you. It costs nothing to give someone a compliment, it takes a small amount of effort to hold the door open for someone. There are so many little ways to show someone they mean a whole lot to you.

Many times I am only focused on myself. How do I feel? What people are thinking of me? What am I doing? What are they doing for me? This world is to big to only think of myself. If I want to do anything significant I need to think about other people. I must think about other people’s feelings? I must think about what they are doing? What are they thinking? What do they need? I must be able to understand where people are coming from. I must care about them as much as I care about myself.

If you do something then who do you do it for. Are you doing it for yourself or for someone else? If it’s someone else then you have to ask what they want or what makes them happy? If you truly know what someone wants then you can deliver it to them.
