The way you think will and the philosophies you have will affect the actions you take.
If you think the world is against you then you will find ways to prove your right. On the other hand if you think the world works in your favor then you will also find ways to be right.
The best way to be lucky is to think you are lucky.
Setting this mindset is like setting your sail on a sail boat. This philosophy will guide your boat and life in the direction you want to go.
With no direction you are lost.
With no light you are in the dark.
You will not be fulfilled unless you are living your dream. You will be easily swayed and manipulated unless you have principles to live by and guide you.
The quality of your life is based of the quality of decision you make. The clearer you are about what you want the easier it will be to make these decisions.
Understand how the world works and set goals so high that it pulls you to accomplish them.
