When the stakes are raised there is more on the line. There is more to gain and more to loose. Knowing this you are forced to step up your game and become better.

A good analogy is skiing when you stick to the easy slopes then you will always be a beginner. As soon as you jump up to a more difficult slope you have to become better because it is more dangerous.

You will fail but as long as you get back up and keep going the more difficult path will become the new normal.

There is no happiness in stagnation.

I often hear, “Be happy with what you got! There are a lot of people who have it worse than you.” While this is true, this is not the best way to make your self happy.

The only person you should compare yourself to is yourself. Comparing yourself to other people always leads to unhappiness because as soon as you compare to the people with less than you you jump to people with more than you and become unhappy again. Or even worse you surround yourself with people worse than you to make yourself feel better. Instead look at yourself and do everything you can to be better than you were yesterday. Slowly make progress in the direction you want to go.

God helps those who helps themselves so raise up and help yourself.

Blog #226 – Ring the Bell of Success

What does it feel like to be successful?

Do you know this feeling well or has it been missing lately?

Either way, do something that makes you feel successful. Embrace the feeling and bask in it. Anchor this feeling deep within you.

Repeat the process that made you feel successful and keep raising the bar. Stretch and grow and the feeling of success will stretch and grow to. You will now have more paths to success.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
