Blog #208 – How to get more done in less time.
There are many distractions and traps out there. Everyone is fighting over you attention. They want you to look at their profile, to like their picture, to buy their product, to see their show or for you to give them your attention. Your attention and focus are the most valuable thing you have.
How good you are at focusing is a predictor at how long its going to take you to finish something. If you know you are easily distracted then do what you can to eliminate distractions. Turn off notifications.
Start with short bursts of focused attention. Set a goal to focus on something for 5 min and no longer. Use interval focus to make progress. Keep making progress and it will become a lot easier.

Blog #70 – Make it EASY
In any profession all of the greats make it look easy. In sports the game slows down for them and they make the right moves look effortless. In music the great players hit the right notes with ultimate precision and timing. In public speaking, the speaker is up there on stage relaxed. They make it look easy because it is easy for them.
For the rest of us, we tend to over-complicate things. We stress and worry because we are in over our heads. We add levels of complexity that are unnecessary but we think will impress someone else. This does not do anyone any good and only makes it harder on ourselves.
Take out the complexity and simplify it. The best work happens when you are playful and enjoying yourself. People will be able to see this and you will become the master.
