There is a balance focusing on what you don’t have. Focusing on what you don’t have can motivate you to figure out how to go out and get it. When you want something it is up to you to make it happen.
On the other side when you focus on what you don’t have it can make you feel down. When you lack something then there are reasons you lack it. This can make you feel insufficient.
When you focus on what you have it can make you feel grateful. To look back at how far you’ve come. Look back on the memories you’ve had, the accomplishments you’ve achieved, look at the treasures you’ve collected.
