You are going to fail. You are going to make mistakes. You are going to lose. There are many reasons you are going to fall off the horse. These could be doubts, fears and failure but there are limited reasons you get back on the horse. What are you reasons to keep going? Do you have the grit to not stop?

You must be willing to put it all on the line. You must know why you are putting yourself through the struggle. If your why is not big enough then you won’t get back on. Create compelling goals that you must accomplish.

If you are feeling stressed, depressed, fearful it is probably because you are focused to much on yourself. Negative emotions come from loss, less and never.

Loss – you are losing something. Something has been taken from you.

Less – you have less of something. You think you deserve more or you compare yourself to others who have more.

Never – you think something is never going to happen. There is no control.

When we think about these 3 things we cause ourselves suffering.

Make a commitment and decision in your life to live in a beautiful state no matter what. Nip suffering in the butt immediately. If you are suffering it is because of three possible things:

    1. Loss
    2. Less
    3. Never

These three emotions/situations will bring you into suffering. These will take you out of a beautiful state and life is too short to live in anything but a beautiful state. It is ok to suffer and we all do but when you notice these in your life use it as a trigger to remind you to live in a beautiful state.

A practice to get out of suffering. Sit upright in a chair with your feet on the ground. Breathe deeply for 30 seconds. Feel your heart beat and think of three things that make you feel deeply grateful. Then open your eyes and notice how you feel.

Learn from the suffering. What did I or can I learn from this?
