Based of yesterday blog post when you measure things you can manage them. When these data points of measurement add up then trends start to emerge. More insight is gained about where you are succeeding and where you are falling short. Once a trend is brought to light then educated action can be taken to correct unwanted trends or double down on efforts of wanted trends.

noiz viol8ion blog #736 – Measure to Manage
Anything you want to do more or less of needs to be measured. If you want to be healthier track your food and calories. Look at how many times you goto the gym in a week, a month and a year. Only from these numbers can you track the changes you want to make.
This is done for us in financials. We can look at our bank account and see how much money we have.
In your relationships track how many dates and conversations you’ve had with that person.
Then based off whether you want more or less you can increase or decrease these numbers. Every week my phone tells me how much time I’ve spent on it. This is one thing I use in my life to manage my screen time.

noiz viol8ion blog #401 – A Little Becomes A Lot
Very rarely is it sink or swim. Most of the time people put their toe in the water to test the water. This is the same with everything else. Before you are given everything you want you are tested with a little. Take money for example. If you have a little bit of money, manage it properly, and make a return then it becomes a lot. This is true for everything else to. If you take care of things you will be given more things.
Love things and things will love you back.

noiz viol8ion blog #387 – Measure and Manage
How do you know if your getting better?
What are your markers for success?
You must have a system in place to get results. You must measure these results over time. If you are just starting then showing up is the best result to measure. Like did I show up and write a blog. Did I show up and practice? Did I show up and write a page?
What is this minimum necessary result of success?
This is similar to the Jerry Seinfeld method. He said if you want to be a better comedian then everyday you write a joke mark your calendar with an X and build the longest streak you can.

Blog #201 – To Manage you have to Measure
If you want to make progress in anything there has to be metrics.
Find a system that works for you that highlights what you with to make progress on.
You will never know if something is working or not unless you have data to back it up.
Give yourself a grade everyday to see how you did. How can you do better? What went right? What went wrong?
Seeing results will motivate you to stay focused and keep pushing.
Experiment with different systems and find out what works for you.
