There is no secret. Chances are that you already know what you need to do. All of the things swirling around in your head say, “I should really do….”, “I wish I could….”, “I really want to….” These are the things you should absolutely be doing as soon as possible.
Start doing things that you want to do. Even if you are scared or uncomfortable you should do it anyways. Count down like a rocketship 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 – GO! Limit the time you overthink and just give into the urge to GO!
Being in control takes practice. There is so much going on around us that it is easy to loose focus or get caught up in our emotions. When we are in control we are not reacting to every little thing that happens around us. We are using what is around us to benefit our mission. We are playing with the world because we know the rules of the universe. We can see the chain of dominos fall even before we tip over the first one. We have the ability to see patterns and install habits in our life. We know where these habits and patterns will lead us because we are in control.

What are the basics of your life? When you make a decision what theme does it feed. If you do not stand for something you will fall for anything. There are so many distractions internally and externally. If we build a solid foundation internally then we know how to handle situations better and make decisions better. What are the poles of your internal compass? The external world is always changing but if we are guided by a constant internal we will get to where we want to go.
Success doesn’t always comes easy. Often times success come after years and years of failure. It’s like The Matrix when Neo takes his first jump off the building. He is supposed to be the chosen one but he crashes to the ground just like everyone else. This is a metaphor for success. Most likely the first version of anything is going to be horrendous. This stops some people from trying and this encourages some people to keep going. The only way to get the success is to get this first version out the door as fast as possible. Collect the feedback as you go along and work on the next version. Keep making improvements and iterations. You will never reach that perfection because with each version you will learn and use on the next. Soon it will take less time to get the same results that took you forever.
There are many different recipes out there and you can make any one of them. You won’t know you like something until you taste it. Once you make a recipe once then you can make adjustment the recipes to match your liking. You do not have to follow recipes exactly. It’s more fun to make it your own. If you are not the cook you have to eat what you are served.
If you are going to be a leader then you must know who you are leading. Imagine you are a supervisor or manager at a company and have 10 people you are managing and have 2 managers yourself. You work for the 10 people you are managing. You work to make these peoples job easier. You work to get more out of these 10 people. You make sure they have everything they need to get the job done. Take time to get to know these people and what motivates them. Find out what excites them to do more and better work. Put them in places they can succeed. Once you realize who you are working for then things will become clear. The team will unite for you or against you.
Sacrifices must be made but there are certain things you should not sacrifice. Do not do things that will compromise yourself, your character or your reputation. Once you start making compromises then it becomes easier and easier to cut corners. You begin down a very slippery slope. Your happiness and self worth begin to become compromised. Keep your standards high and stay true to yourself.
The market is the decision maker. The market sets the price. The market let’s you know if you have a valuable product. The earlier you understand your market the earlier you will understand what they want. With feedback from the market you will be able to improve your product. The better the product the easier it is to market. Give the market what it wants.
