noiz viol8ion blog #785 – Remove the Want

I must remove the want from the future goals I set. Wanting is a desire, a yearning. It reminds me of things I do not have and makes me feel weak and lacking. If I want something then I do not have it and if I do not have something there is a reason. My mind will come up with all the reasons why I can’t have or why I don’t have currently. These reasons could be. I am not good enough. I do not have enough money. I am not handsome enough. I am not influential enough. I do not have enough help, friends, time.

All these outlandish excuses populate my mind and have the ability for me to believe them.

I must not fall to these excuses and instead be resourceful enough to use what I have to make the next actionable step. I must build from a point of strength not lack.

noiz viol8ion blog #651 – Want and Love

Love is extreme wanting. It is possible to love the idea of something and the reality does not match the idea. This will end up causing depression because there is a disconnect on your ideals and reality. These can be ideals of who you are, how you want to feel, who your lover is and how they make you feel. There is this gap between reality and your idea of how reality should be.

If you find yourself in this depression gap then you must do two things.

    1. Accept The Things You Cannot Control
    2. Change The Things You Can Control.

noiz viol8ion blog #494 – Two Things Most People Get Wrong

You can do anything if you prepare for it.

    What people get wrong is:

    1. They do not know what they want. They are a plastic bag floating in the wind. It’s Alice when she asks the Cat which direction she needs to go and he said depends on where you want to go. You must know where you want to end up.
    2. Once you know what you want then you must know why you want it. This is reinforcement for when things get tough to remind you why you are fighting for it in the first place. Your why will make it easy when things get tough.

People are focused on the wrong things so they end up doing the wrong things. This leaves a deep unfulfilled feeling.
