You deserve to have all your dreams to come true. Playing small does not help anyone. Think big and take big action. Set your goals as high as you can and be as unrealistic as you can because you are going to create a new reality.
Imaging all your dreams coming true. Let the sensation wash over your body. Let go of the fear and doubt. Welcome the light into your life. You deserve all of the happiness that life throws you way. You are worthy of receiving the gifts that life has to offer. You are blessed and you have to make room for more blessings in your life.
Before you take any action there is one thing you must have. When you have this the action you take will be greater and the results you get will be larger.
The thing you have to have is a strong and unwavering belief. A belief in yourself and a belief that what you are going to do is be successful.
You must believe that no matter what happens you will find a way.
Work hard, have fun, be safe, take chances, mitigate risk, know what you want, know why you want it, do what you love, learn something new everyday, focus on the most important thing, get stuff done, celebrate, network, have great friends, build new relationships, grow confidence, be unique, move past resistance, be comfortable with being uncomfortable, ask questions, think big, think specific, act in spite of fear, be courageous, be nice, give people the benefit of the doubt, let people talk about themselves, give before asking, be self aware, let haters be your motivators, dress sharp, expand your vocabulary, compliment other, and be a leader.
When things get hard the brain starts to come up with compromises to make things easier. If you stick to your guns and follow through then you will get more out of it than cutting corners or making compromises.
Do not follow someone you know is wrong. Do the work yourself to figure out what is right and what is wrong. Then always do what is right.
You are where you are because of the decisions you have made. Keep raising the standard of your decisions and what is acceptable. You have to look out for yourself first because if you don’t then no one will.
Ted Williams is one of the greatest hitter to play baseball because he knew what pitches to swing at and which ones to let go. He knew his probability to hit a baseball depending on where the ball was when it crossed the plate. He knew his sweet spot and his cold zones. This is how you should approach every decision you make.
Know where you are most likely to succeed and where you are most likely to fail. Take the most swings in your sweet spot. Minimize your risk of failure by knowing yourself and knowing your strengths and weaknesses.
The rich and wealthy have more than they need. They live below their income and have more money left over each month. They spend less than they earn. They do not live paycheck to paycheck. They take care of their security and necessities first. They think in terms of their networth and not income. They have long term appreciating assets. They’re careers are more passion based and not for money. They budget and have a plan for their money. Their money works for them and they do not work for money. They follow principles, practices and percentages no matter how much money they have. They are well educated and disciplined.
I tend to undervalue what I know and overvalue what I do not know.
We will pay someone great money to do a task for us because we do not want to mess it up. We fear the unknown so much that we will pay for the convenience of not having to deal with things and just get the result we want. We will do anything to avoid pain and still get the pleasure.
Sometimes we can not pay someone to do things for us. Sometimes we must learn and fail on our own. This is the only way to grow and move foreword.
The pain of staying where you are at is greater than the pain of moving foreword.
If you want something done then keep it simple.
If we are learning a new skill or starting a new hobby then we tend to make it overly complicated. We assume the worst and it deters us from ever starting in the first place. We think that we can’t do things and only experts can.
The key is to start small. What is the smallest step you can take to make progress? Make this small step as simple and easy to do as possible.
Your purpose is not static. Your purpose is not one thing. Your purpose is not a talent or hobby. Your purpose is not validation from someone or something else.
Your purpose is inside you. Your purpose is a feeling you get when you know your doing the right thing. Your purpose is unique to you. You must ask and listen to yourself.
