One of the greatest things you can do is make other people around you better. This can be done in a couple different ways. The first and most important way is to be 100% yourself. When you are yourself then you give other people permission to be themselves. Don’t hold back and give it all you got. Effort is contagious so lead by example. The second thing you can do to make other people better is to have empathy. Listen to people and see their point of view. Change your perspective so you have a better understanding of what they are going through.

You must be able to speak their language. You must be able to understand where they are coming from.

It is always a two way communication flow. You are not delegating and giving order. You are listening and providing feedback.

If you create a better mouse trap or disprove something that everyone believes to be true then you will stand out.

To be a great leader you have to have great influence on people. People are not going to follow you if there is no influence. To influence people you yourself must be influence. The influence is in your belief. You must have 100% belief of what you are selling. You must have conviction and certainty that you are correct. There must not be any doubt or people will feel that in your voice.
