    noiz viol8ion blog #519 – Seasons

    What season are you in?

Things can be dark and cold at times but after this the sun comes out. Know what season you are in so that you can prepare for the next one. Do not make things worse than they are and do not make things better than they are. You must be equally prepared for each season.

When things are good, enjoy them. When things are bad, reflect on it. There are two extremes that you will bounce between and each one can be learning opportunity for the next time you are in that season.

Go at everything with a positive attitude. Believe that you have unlimited potential and take massive action. Nothin is going to stop you besides yourself and your attitude. The more you think you will be successful the more successful thing you do. Continue to grow because you always grow towards the light.

  • Blog #218 – Which of these 2 mindsets do you have?

Blog #218 – Which of these 2 mindsets do you have?

In the book Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck, she talks about people having two different types of mindsets.

    1. The Fixed Mindset
    2. The Growth Mindset

The fixed mindset is when people put a label on themselves. They think they are born good or bad at something. They think there are either smart or dumb at things. They think they are fat or skinny. These people are more anxious and think people are judging them.

The growth mindset people are more at ease because they are becoming something. They may not be as good as they want to be but know they can work on their skills. They are not stuck because they are always growing. They have the power to increase their competency. They take responsibility on themselves to grow

  • Blog #169 – THINK BIG AND EXECUTE!

    Stop thinking small.

Have great ideas that will change the world and have the determination to execute no matter what. Find a way to get it done.

Lose your ego and do not pigeon hole yourself by placing labels on yourself.

Do not have a fixed mindset about who you are.

Have a growth mindset about who you can become.

Be in a constant state of learning and improving.

See every challenge as a learning opportunity.

Do not let your current state stop you from starting something new.

Your ideas are too small. Think bigger. Dream bigger. Have ideas so big that they scare you.

  • Blog #166 – Train you MIND

Your quality of life depends on your mind. How you think, How you make decisions, How you react, how you solve problems.

Your mindset puts a filter on everything you see, hear and feel. It can be cold and grey or bright and warm.

You have the power to choose and create the life of your dreams. You must free your mind from the limiting beliefs that constrain yourself, whether it be fear, greed, jealousy, hatred, revenge, or superstition. Replace these with empowering beliefs like faith, courage, strength, love, enthusiasm, joy, beauty, calm, romance, and hope. Your mind makes better decisions in these positive states. Operating from these consistently you will have a naturally better quality of life.

You must figure out how to flood your mind with these positive emotions. Figure out how to make these your natural states. Train your mind to return to these states.

  • Blog #64 – The Golden Rule is Flawed!

Let people thrive by being themselves. Do not try to change people or tell them how they should be doing things. Everyone is different and will come up with a different way to do the same thing. It may not be the way you would do it but no one is like you.

Even the “Golden Rule” is flawed because everyone wants to be treated different and if someone treats us how we don’t want to be treated then we get upset. They may be treating us that way because it is a different culture or any number of reasons.

It is our own expectations that causes us discomfort. The expectations of what others should be doing. The expectations of how we should be treated. The expectations that you are owed something. The expectations of who people are.

Trade your expectations for appreciation and your whole world changes in an instant.

    Tony Robbins

With no expectations you leave nothing to chance. You become a leader and do things for yourself. You are not waiting around for other people to do things for you. With no expectations everything becomes a surprise and a blessing. Expectations are always a let down. Lower the bar and appreciate all the small things.

  • Blog #35 – Start a wave!

Waves are caused by energy. There is a push on one side and a pull on the other. The most common type of wave is in the ocean. The wind blows the water causing friction with one side rising and the other falling. The stronger the wind, the greater the friction and the bigger the wave will be. This is why hurricanes will create tsunamis. Waves so big and powerful that it will destroy giant cities.

What other types of waves are there?

Heatwaves, radio waves, microwaves, hair waves, internet waves

The same rules apply to making all waves.

Waves are caused by an external energy that goes against the grain.
