Blog #197 – These Two Things Always Pay-Off

    1. Dedication
    2. Hard-work

Sometimes if there is not an immediate result then people lose motivation and focus. We are easily bored and have a short attention span. Time is the most valuable asset everyone has so no one wants to waste their time. If you are trying to lose wait the people think the worst thing is to waste time on something that doesn’t work. They try everything and the pounds never come off. This is frustrating for anyone going through this struggle All they want is the feeling of being fit and sexy.

They want this feeling so bad they will look for solutions to get this result immediately. The pain of staying fat is a motivating thought. So motivating that it causes some people to try and cut corners or take a magic pill where there is no pain and only pleasure.

The pleasure is in the pain. You should not wait until you reach the destination to feel good. You should embrace the pain and do the hard-work. Pay the price and you will gain the reward.

Blog #195 – Avoid This Devastating mistake

Anything that is consistent is easy to tune out. If there is a droning sound the brain will eventually tune it out. The mind comes comfortable with it and then starts to look for what’s new or changing.

This is a dangerous automatic response from the brain because we should not tune out everything.

When you have great people in your life they are very consistent. If you have a great family they will consistently show you unconditional love. It is easy to forget how lucky you are.

Remind yourself and be grateful. Remind the people in your life and let them know how special they are. Cherish every moment you have with them because it is never enough.

There a few people in your life that will put your interest above their own. Take care of these people and show them the same unconditional love.

  • Blog #194 – Eliminate to Expand

Blog #194 – Eliminate to Expand

Eliminate the unnecessary tasks in your life.

Remember the Pareto Principle. The Pareto Principle state that 80% of the results come from 20% of your actions.

Focus on the 20% of actions that get you this giant number of results. What are the things you are doing that is really moving the needle? This is where you should be focusing more of your time.

Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself you’ll make a fortune.

    Jim Rohn

Do the 20% of actions that make you the happiest. Do the 20% of actions that make you the wealthiest. Do the 20% of actions that make you the healthiest. Do the 20% of actions that bring the most love. Then you have 20% left over to do what ever you want.

  • Blog #192 – Surround Yourself with Greatness and you will become Great

Blog #192 – Surround Yourself with Greatness and you will become Great

You will absorb the qualities of the people around you so make sure the people around you have outstanding qualities that you want. Carefully analyze qualities you want in yourself. If you want to be more social, courageous, athletic, wealthy, healthy, or loving. Look for these qualities in others. Look at what they are doing and try to copy them and develop these qualities yourself. Look at what they are doing that you don’t like and avoid doing those things.

    Seek and you shall find.

    What are you looking for?

If you start looking for greatness you will find it. If you look for sadness you will find it. If you look for to better yourself then you will find ways.

  • Blog #191 – What’s the probability of that actually happening?

Blog #191 – What’s the probability of that actually happening?

Be optimistic about your end game but be realistic about your life.

Optimism will drive you to achieve great things and take giant risks. Optimism will take you on great adventures and you will do things you have always wanted to do. Optimism gives you permission to have enormous goals and vision for your life. Optimism lets us see the good and the potential in people. The world would be a depressing pessimistic place without optimism.

The downside of optimism is that it will blind you to the risks. It will cause you to take giant chances that you shouldn’t be taking. Optimism will make you take enormous loses that are hard to recover from. You have to use realism and pessimism to mitigate your risk. How likely are you to succeed? How likely are you to lose? You must be completely comfortable if either one of these situations happen. Don’t be naive to the negative.

Knowing you are protecting your downside allows you take bigger risks. It is a fine balance you must walk because if you are always preparing for your downside then you will not take massive action for a huge upside.
