I made a commitment to myself that I will value progress over perfection. I did this because for a long time I valued perfection and noticed I was not going anywhere. I was not happy because ultimately nothing was perfect especially me. When the standard is is unattainable then you will fail every time. When the standard is to get just a little bit better then it is easier to win.
