When people are looking for a restaurant to eat at, when people are looking to travel somewhere, when people are looking to buy something the first thing they do is look at reviews. People will ask their friends for recommendations. People are looking for social proof and validation. No one wants to be the guinea pig so their looking for socially proven solutions. They want to know that if other people have done it then they can do it too. Everyone is looking at each other for what is good. People are looking at you when you write a review or make a recommendation. When you get the social proof people need then you are more likely to make a sale.

Each of these things can be replicated but you have to know what you want.

I care about my own happiness. I care about taking care of my needs first and then about those closest to me. All my cares start with me and then my circle of caring grows from there. When I can figure out how to solve my cares then I might be able to help other people solve their’s.

Here is where you have a choice on which road to take. Do you continue down the safe and secure path or do you take a chance on a path that will make you happy? If you begin to prioritize your happiness over security then your decision making process will change. Instead of thinking with your head you lead with your heart. Just know that whichever road you take you can be smart about the decisions you make.
