The three sides to every situation are your side, my side and the unbiased truth. When something happens we do not see the event, we see the event through the filter of our own experiences, ideals and beliefs. We have expectations about how the world should be and when our expectations are met or broken we experience pain or pleasure. We are either disappointed or pleasantly surprised. Right or wrong we take beliefs and make them our truths. We take conversations and turn people into heros or villains in our lives. We take habits and create who we are. We take dreams and turn them into depression because we are not there. We can take dreams and turn them into goals. The filter in which you apply to the world and yourself will change how you see yourself and the world.
