Blog #160 – It is what it is…

Accept things for what they are and learn from them. Accept the good and the bad equally because they are both learning experiences.

    Be in the moment.

Do not live in the past and regret decisions that you have made. Do not live in the futre and stress about the things that have not happened or may never happen.

    Stay in the moment.

Be clear on where you are going and confident in who you are. Be grateful for everything you have in life. Forgive people who have done you wrong.

How are you going to make the world a better place?

    Think BIG!

Quitters never win and WINNERS NEVER QUIT.

Blog #159 – Ask, Seek, Knock

All talk does not get you results but it is a start. Your mind and body must be congruent. You must be doing the things that you say you are going to do. You must build up your own credibility with yourself. Say it and do it.

Link incredible pleasure with accomplishing what you want. Imagine yourself already in possession of the object of your desire.

Be specific about what you want and exactly when you want it by. Take the feeling of gaining everything you want and internalize it.

How are you going to feel if you get what you want?

How are you going to feel if you don’t get what you want?

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

    Matthew 7:7
  • Blog #158 – DESTROY Limiting Beliefs

All day we have a commentary running through our minds. When we do something bad that voice very loud. When we do something good the voice is either not there or is very quiet. Where did this voice come from? Why does it feel so real? Why does it break us down and not build us up?

This voice is your subconscious. This voice has been trained and conditioned since you were a little baby. This voice is a parrot to what is sees and hears on a daily basis. It is the voice to keep you safe. It is not the voice to make you happy.

Usually we are focused on two things.

    1. Trying to avoid pain.
    2. Trying to gain pleasure

Are you a pleasure seeker or a pain avoider?

Our desire to avoid pain is greater than our desire to gain pleasure.

The good thing is that these limiting beliefs that hold us back so we will avoid pain can be destroyed and replaced with positive empowering beliefs. There is a 3 to 1 rule and it takes 3 positives to destroy one negative. You must bring yourself to the positive belief and feel that pleasure 3 times more and place an anchor on that pleasure. Once the anchor is placed you can fire it off at any time.

  • Blog #157 – 6 Steps for Achieving a Financial Dream

In Think and Grow Rich a book by Napoleon Hill, he lays out the six steps for achieving your financial dream or goal.

    1. Fix your mind on the EXACT amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient to merely say, “I want more money.” be definitive to the amount.
    2. Determine exactly what you intend to GIVE in return for the money you desire. (there is no such reality as “Something for noithing”)
    3. Establish a definite date when you intend to POSSESS the money you desire.
    4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into ACTION.
    5. WRITE out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the mone, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate the money.
    6. READ you written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read – see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money

This is your blueprint to follow. This is the map you create. This is how you build the belief.

  • Blog #156 – You NEED these Characteristics to be GREAT

Determination – You must know what the outcome you wish to achieve is and not stopping until you reach it.

Grit – It does not matter how many times you fail.

Persistance – You must get back up on the horse until you have reached the outcome you wish to achieve.

You never give up on a baby when they are learning to walk so why would you give up on yourself when you are learning a new skill. You will learn and adjust. You will fail and get back up. You will retool and ponder why things went wrong and then implement a new strategy. Grow thick skin and dream big because the bigger the dreams you have the more you will hear from the critics.

  • Blog #155 – Prime your MIND

What do you want? Are you fully prepared and ready to get it?

Your brain is very good at blocking out every piece of information it deems unnecessary for survival. You must want things as bad as you want to breathe. Only then will you get it. You must tell your mind what is a must have and what is important to your survival and happiness.

Your brain has a reticular activating system. This means that your brain is like a homing missile. It will do everything it can to self correct course until it hits its target. To explain this imagine you buy an new car. Once you buy the car you start to notice this car all over the highways. You have told your brain that this car is important so it will notice it for you without any extra effort.

Use this mechanism in the brain to your advantage by expressing your dreams and goals. Your brain will notice opportunities that will lead you to these goals without extra effort.

  • Blog #154 – Start Bad and Start Small

Even if you don’t know what to do or are having a metal block about what you should do then keep going.

    Start smaller.

If you are supposed to write everyday but don’t know the topic just start writing about how you don’t know what your supposed to be doing. Write down the words going through your head. and train your mind to stay in the flow of constant motion.

If you start then you are more likely to finish.

If you never start you will only feed the block and give it more power over you. Just start and your brain will automatically connect the dots for you and you will be on your way.

The hardest step to take is the first one.

Embark on the journey and be open to where it takes you. Do not try to control every little bit along the way. Go to what interests you and does not feel painful.

  • Blog #153 – Challenges of an Influencer

Being and influencer is not easy. You are trying to move people to become a better person but they may not want to be moved.

Show them the light and wake them up. Why is what they’re doing bad and what you’re doing great?

Create a shift in their mindset and beliefs that makes them want to change. Some people hate themselves so much that they will not change for themselves but they might change for other people. Tell them how this affects them and the people around them.

Use whatever leverage you can to make them open their eyes to a greater life. Anything less than everlasting change is not acceptable and it is up to you as an influencer to take it upon yourself to do the best you can. Sometimes you will have to be the bad guy in the short run to be the good guy in the long run. If you are coming from a place of love and looking out for their best interests than you have to do whatever it take to get the results your looking for. The how is not as important as what you are influencing. You will find a way if you know where you are going.

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

    Theodore Roosevelt

  • Blog #152 – Analytical Meditation

Know yourself even more by going deeper into your emotions. If you get angry then ask questions and try to find the anger. Who is angry? Where is this anger coming from? Can I locate this anger? What is good about this anger? What is bad about this anger?

Sometimes if we really analyze our anger we cannot find anything and we are holding onto nothing. Everyone gets angry but if you take a step back and realize that the anger is not benifitying you then you can release it.

Realize that the world is bigger than yourself. There is so much that you do not know and will never know. You have a certain capacity of information and time in this world so choose wisely. Choose what you want to study. Choose how you want to feel. Choose who you want to spend your time with.

  • Blog #151 – 3 Beliefs to Everlasting Change

Belief #1 – Things MUST Change

This is the feeling that ” I can’t take it anymore! I’ve had it! This is the last straw!” If you will no longer accept your current circumstances then you will do whatever it takes to change.

Belief #2 – For things to change I MUST change

This belief means that you take 100% responsibility for your current circumstances. When you take responsibility you are empowering yourself by saying that you got yourself here and now you can get yourself there.

Belief #3 – The Change will be immensely pleasurable in the end.

To have change you must gain leverage on yourself. This is done by feeling how terrible and painful your current situation. That if you stay in your current situation then this pain will multiply and you will never be happy. After you feel this pain imagine the feeling of pleasure rushing over you body if you change this situation to what you want. How much more pleasure will you and other feel if you make this change?
